Neeroga

The National Lotteries Board (NLB) has several tricks up its sleeve. The company’s portfolio of games is pretty vast, allowing everyone to find at least one lottery to fall in love with. Neeroga is one of these lotteries, and not only is it fun to play, but it also contributes to the betterment of society.

Each time you get Neeroga tickets, 10 percent of the proceeds will be dedicated to the National Kidney Fund. Hence, you will have the feel-good sensation of assisting someone who needs it through your lottery playing.

The game was discontinued for some time, but it was relaunched in March 2019. Since its inception, the lottery has contributed over 985.795 million rupees to the National Kidney Fund.

Neeroga is a legitimate opportunity to win some cash if you are in Sri Lanka. The game is relatively simple to understand and play, but we’ll still take a look at all of the essentials in the following Neeroga review.

How to Play Neeroga

For a chance to win a lovely prize, you will have to choose four numbers from a pool of 72 and one of the zodiac signs. It’s really up to you to figure out if you’re going to play your own or just a random horoscope.

You have the chance to either mark your numbers and sign at the retail venue when you buy the ticket or choose the quick pick option. Quick pick means that a random number and zodiac set will be created for you by the lottery ticket issuing software.

Neeroga drawings take place three times per week – on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The cost of a single entry into the game is 20 rupees.

Just like other lottery tickets in Sri Lanka, the Neeroga play slips are color-coded. Thus, if you decide to play the game on a Tuesday, you will be issued a green ticket. The Friday ticket is orange, and the one you can play on a Sunday is purple.

That’s pretty much everything you need to know about getting started with Neeroga. There are no other rules, add-ons, or bonuses you could activate. The gameplay is simple and always the same, regardless of the weekly drawing you’ve chosen.

You can buy your Neeroga tickets at all of the NLB authorized retail venues throughout Sri Lanka. The NLB website gives you more details about where ticket purchases can occur and what you’ll need to do to get your play slip.

Sri Lanka does not impose limitations on the nationality of people who can play the lottery. If you’re staying in the country legally, you have the right to buy lottery tickets and to claim a winning eventually.

At the time being, NLB and other Sri Lankan lottery operators do not have online ticket buying options available. You will have to physically be in Sri Lanka at the time of the drawing to get your ticket. International online lottery agencies do not support Sri Lanka games, so you’re left with just one legitimate opportunity for ticket buying.

Neeroga Prizes and Payouts

Once the Neeroga results become available, you’ll get to know if you’ve won anything. Luckily, there’s more than one way to claim a prize in this game.

To snatch the top prize, you will have to match both the four main numbers and the zodiac sign. Neeroga gives you access to a minimum guaranteed jackpot of 10 million rupees. If there’s no winner for the respective drawing, the sum will roll over towards the next one. This way, Neeroga can produce some juicy jackpots after a few drawings without a winner.

The last big jackpot that fell occurred on March 19, 2020. At the time, the top prize had reached 15.1 million rupees.

The second prize of one million rupees is available to those who match the four main numbers correctly. This is a much easier accomplishment than meeting the conditions for winning the jackpot, which is why many more players claim the second prize that still makes them millionaires.

Apart from the top two awards, there are seven additional prize tiers. Those who match three of the main numbers and the zodiac sign will win the third reward of 10,000 rupees. The smallest prize is 20 rupees, and it belongs to those who match either one of the main numbers or the zodiac sign.

Keep in mind that currently and due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation across the globe, the NLB has discontinued all lottery drawings. You will have to check back with their official websites or with the company’s official social media profiles to find out when the drawings and the ticket sales will start taking place once again.
